A year ago I saw Big Freedia for my first time at the NOLA Art House/Treehouse #1, and here is a video of that. Thanks to my friend Dom for sending this to me! Happy Belated Valentine’s Day! Dangerous and I are both pretty scornful of flowers, chocolates, teddy bears, candlelight dinners, etc.. So we decided to book a Ghosts & Vampires of New Orleans Tour for last night instead. I won’t spill the beans about all the gruesome shit in the French Quarter we found out about but I will say that at the end, our tour guide Lord Chaz cut open his own arm with his sharp blue fingernails, drank his own blood, bandaged the wound then reopened it and pumped his fist to bleed more and drink more, and then made his blood stop pumping so his wound started healing incredibly quickly.
After the tour we ended up at Yo Mama’s (they are Port of Call’s rival burger joint) where we tried the peanut burger and mushroom burgers. A+

This is the Treehouse/NOLA Art House. Art-themed parties are thrown there. It is literally a tree house. Sometimes there are naked people. Are you jealous that you don’t live in New Orleans yet????? YOU SHOULD BE
PS John and I had dinner at Cochon BUTCHER tonight. He gave it an 8.5 out of 10 and I will just leave it at that (John’s pickyness rating: Medium High)
